Notes to Self.



Every now and then I need to send myself little reminders, not so much of tasks to do, but rather reminders of things to not do in order to keep myself sane and improve my emotional health. Last night, I found myself up at 2am with a million thoughts running through my mind, none of which made falling asleep any easier. So, I decided to jot down a few notes to self and plaster them on my mirror in hopes that I'm vain enough to stumble upon them often.


Notes to Self:


1. Do NOT read the comments section. 
(The evil people of the world live there.)

2. Don't be so hard on yourself. You'll be just fine.

3. Don't forget to prioritize and stay organized.

4. Don't become overwhelmed by your to-do list. 

5. Stop worrying.

6. Don't compare, compete, or complain.

7. Seriously, DON'T READ THE COMMENTS SECTION.

8. Don't get infuriated by what you read when you eventually click on the comments section. Evil trolls live there.

9. Don't forget to encourage yourself.

10. Don't underestimate your potential. You've done great things before, and even more greatness is ahead.

Can you tell the comments section is a big thing for me? Given our social climate, I find myself engulfed in the controversial articles and becoming infuriated at the short-sighted, closed-minded, bigoted people that float around on the internet, spewing hate from behind dummy accounts. I'm making another attempt to distance myself from it all. Wish me luck!
