On the Same Page.

You always know what friendships are for real and which ones are fleeting once you put some time and distance between you guys. Two friends that have not only stood the test of time, but also distance, are my favorite twins, Tamia and Tamera. We have been close since middle school, and even though we may not talk everyday or hang out every time we were all home from college, one thing has remained the same; we will always be on the same page.

Tamia and Tamera, along with their sister and their niece all came up to the Big Apple for a weekend in the city. It was perfect that I lived here and they needed things to do, so we decided to meet up for dinner and drinks. I swear, it was like no time had passed at all. We joked and laughed all night long as I gave them a tour of the city and showed them my favorite spots to pig out at. Even though we only hung out for a night, I got that little piece of home and familiar friendship that I haven't quite gotten since being here (It takes time). I don't really like me in this picture; the way I had my jacket halfway zipped makes it look like I'm wearing an art smock, but I love these gals, so I had to post it. Tamia and Tamera are definitely true blue friends, and I know that no matter how far apart we may be or how long it's been since we've chatted, we'll always pick back up right where we left off.
