Memorable Memorial.

Where do I begin? After what seemed like a never-ending week, my little pieces of home came up to visit for Memorial weekend! Victoria and Ashley, my good friends from college, made their way up to NYC, and together, we painted the town purple and gold (JMU ^_^)! There are very few parts of the city that we DIDN'T touch, and in just 2 days, we made memories that will definitely go down in the history books! To start their first day in NYC, we went to Blockheads for girl talk and margaritas while enjoying the beautiful day. Surrounded by a bunch of military men for Fleet Week, it took no time at all for us make a few cute friends!

As we continued to roam through the city, we stumbled upon a fair-like fiesta going on in Nolita. Of course we stopped! They had funnel cakes, fried Oreos, candy apples, chocolate covered strawberries, and every other fair classic food/game you can imagine! I had a blast showing them around my home, and it made my heart smile to see them enjoying themselves!

Last night, we decided to go to the lovely rooftop lounge that Tiona, Cali and I visited when they came to NYC back in March. My other friend, Kevin came along, and we celebrated his brother's 25th birthday together! It was truly one of the best weekends I've had since moving here!

  2. Sounds like a great time. I moved to NYC from the South (Florida) 3 years ago and while I like it here I miss Florida so much.

I also have a blog and would love it if you checked it out.If you like it please follow.
